DOKANA is a modern building that we started constructing in 2000. It is located at the centre of the village right next to the square or else pazari (bazaar). Its imposing shape looks as if it wants to fight the age-old platan that is located at the centre of the square.
Description - Rooms, Apartments
The guesthouse consists of 7 rooms (4 two-bedded rooms on the first floor, 2 two-bedded rooms and a four-bedded suite on the second floor). All rooms provide breakfast, WC, telephone, refrigerator, electric iron, hairdryer, and mini bar. The guesthouse also has snack bar, parking lot, room service and 2 communal rooms with fireplace.
Description - Location, Distances
Pinakates is one of the 24 traditional villages of Pilio. It is located 27km SE of the town of Volos. Built at an elevation of approximately 630m, it has a view of the gulf Pagasitikos.
Pinakates, according to experts, is the best maintained traditional settlement and is protected by a Presidential Order as a preservable traditional settlement since 1979. You can reach the village from the town of Volos, by car and public buses (there are 2-4 itineraries depending on the season) and by taxi.
