In a firry area of 16,000m2 and at an elevation of 1000m at the foot of the mountain Helmos lies the CHALET GEORGIOS V, built with a lot of taste and experience in tourism and hospitality. It is just 5km away from Kalavrita and 11km away from the ski resort. It is composed of five separate buildings made of stone and wood and consists of 10 two-storied suites and 4 two-bedded large rooms set up with passion and respect for the needs of the visitors. On the ground floor there is a breakfast hall with fireplace and a view of the town of Kalavrita. On the second floor, in a warm and comfortable environment, there is a cafe-bar that is also equipped with fireplace, imposing wooden ceiling and panoramic view. Finally, 15 beautiful horses and 3 ponies for children are being looked after in the stables of GEORGIOS V, while visitors can enjoy their walks along with the deer, roe deer and wild goats that run and graze free from care.

Each suite can accommodate two to five persons. They are all provided with fireplace, refrigerator, television and DVD player, and they are equipped with classic and comfortable furnishings. Both the suites and the rooms have separate entrances and parking lots.

You can visit the monastery of Agia Lavra that is just 8km away from the town of Kalavrita, while in a distance of 12km there is the fascinating Cave of Lakes. Very interesting is the tour in the monastery of Mega Spileo (Grand Cave) the most beautiful mountain Helmos, the route of the cog railway, the Canyon of Vouraikos River and the Place of Sacrifice.
The area is appropriate for hiking in the nature along, rides with mountain bikes that you can rent in the hotel and also riding with the well taken care of horses of APHRODITE’S INN. The routes for the 4x4 cars are also exciting. In addition, in a distance of 14km there is the ski resort of mountain Helmos. In Kalavrita there is a grass field football stadium and a basketball court that are appropriate for the training of sport teams. Finally, the lovers of adventure can seek for the gliding club.
